Sirapat Prasertsuk

Sirapat is a Senior Associate in our Patent Department with extensive experience in patent matters, particularly in the fields of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. With a strong scientific background and practical knowledge of patent procedures, she is well equipped to handle technically complex inventions and support clients throughout the patent protection process.

Her experience covers the preparation, review, and prosecution of patent applications, including matters involving chemical compounds, pharmaceutical compositions, formulations, manufacturing processes, and related technologies. She works closely with inventors, patent specialists, and clients to understand the technical and commercial significance of each invention, identify its protectable features, and ensure that applications are prepared with clarity, precision, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Sirapat’s academic qualifications provide a strong foundation for her patent practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with First-Class Honors, a Master of Science in Environmental Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety. Her multidisciplinary scientific knowledge enables her to analyze complex technical information and work effectively across chemistry, pharmaceuticals, environmental technology, life sciences, and other related fields.

Before joining the patent profession, Sirapat gained substantial experience in scientific research, technical publishing, and quality control. She coordinated the review and publication of more than 250 scientific manuscripts and served as a Quality Control Editor, where she was responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and compliance with rigorous professional and ethical standards. This experience further developed the analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and technical communication skills that she now applies to patent drafting and prosecution.

Combining patent experience with a strong command of scientific subject matter, Sirapat provides thorough and commercially focused support to both Thai and international clients. Her ability to understand sophisticated technologies, manage complex documentation, and maintain a high standard of accuracy makes her a valuable member of TMP Intellectual Property’s patent team, particularly in chemistry- and pharmaceutical-related matters.
