Nahatai Onsri

Nahathai Onsri is a Patent Specialist in our Patent Department, where she supports the preparation, technical review, translation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications. She works closely with TMP Intellectual Property’s patent team to ensure that applications are technically accurate, clearly presented, and compliant with Thai patent requirements and relevant filing procedures.

With a strong academic foundation in biochemistry, Nahathai focuses particularly on inventions in chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, and enzyme technology. Her scientific knowledge enables her to understand complex biological and chemical concepts and assist with patent matters involving biochemical compounds, microorganisms, genetic materials, fermentation processes, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and other life-science technologies.

As part of her undergraduate research, Nahathai conducted a project involving the identification and cloning of a mutanase gene from fermented-food bacteria for potential industrial applications. Through this work, she developed practical experience in microbiological techniques, bacterial culture, molecular biology, laboratory analysis, and scientific documentation. This combination of scientific training, analytical ability, and careful attention to detail allows her to provide effective support to both Thai and international clients seeking protection for chemistry- and biotechnology-related innovations.
